Collection of personal data

What personal data is
Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a living natural person. This includes, for example, name, social security number, address, e-mail address and telephone number. It also includes, for example, booking numbers and encrypted data and various types of electronic identities, such as IP numbers, if they can be linked to natural persons.

How we collect personal data and what data we collect
Butiksprofil Skandinavien collects personal data in several ways, but primarily directly from you.

Data collected when using our website
When you use our website, we collect information about your use of the website. Some of this information may be personal data, such as your browser's unique ID. We also collect information about how you navigate the site. We use this information to ensure the quality of our website in the future and to develop it further.

Data collected during personal contact
We collect personal data from you when you contact us, for example by email, telephone or other means. In the first instance, we collect the personal data needed to answer your question or deal with your enquiry. This includes information such as your name and customer number. Depending on how you choose to contact us, we may also collect contact details such as your email address or telephone number.

When you contact us in person, we also collect any other personal data that you choose to provide to us and authorise us to keep.

Data collected from someone other than you

When you contact us in person, someone else may provide your personal data. We assume that the person providing the data has your consent to provide this personal data. This may be for the purpose of contacting you to answer a question or if you need to get in touch with us. In order to keep your personal data up to date and accurate, we supplement and update your personal data by obtaining it from private and public registers. This includes, for example, address details and social security numbers.

Handling and storage of personal data

Store profile Scandinavia legal basis to process your personal data
Butiksprofil Skandinavien processes your personal data lawfully. It may occur that the same personal data is processed both on the basis of the fulfilment of an existing agreement, specifically on the basis of consent or on the basis that the data is necessary to fulfil other legal obligations. This means that even if you withdraw your consent and the processing based on the consent ceases, the personal data may still remain with us for other purposes. In essence, we process your data to fulfil a contract to which you are a party, for example in the case of an interior design project.

Administration of your contract

In order to deliver the goods you have ordered from us, we use your personal data in different ways. The data is used to contact you or third parties if we need information to fulfil the service you have ordered from us.

The administration of your contract also includes the use of your data for accounting, settlement and auditing purposes and credit or other payment card verifications.

Customer care
We use your personal data to provide you with a service if you contact us with questions, comments or, for example, complaints. We use your name and customer number to identify you and your contract. We use your contact details, such as e-mail address and telephone number, to contact you in connection with questions and issues. We may also use all the other personal data we have collected about you to handle your enquiry or case, depending on what is relevant in the individual case.

Distribution of information
When you have ordered a product from us, we use your personal data to send you important information about your ordered product or offers related to our products. Such mailings are sent to the e-mail address provided in connection with the order.

Marketing and personalisation
For analysing user patterns and personalisation, we use cookies. You can read our cookie policy here.

Development of products and services
We use the data we collect about our customers to develop and improve our products. This includes our digital services, where we analyse user behaviour to develop how we present information, offers and design features. It also applies to the development of our products according to customer preferences and behaviour and to, for example, correct deficiencies or increase security.

In general, we use anonymous or anonymised data at an aggregated level to conduct this type of analysis. However, we may also use personal data that we have collected where relevant.

Legal requirements
Finally, your personal data may also be processed in order for us to fulfil legal and regulatory obligations, such as security and accounting.

Storage times
Butiksprofil Skandinavien follows good practice in the industry. We save your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose of the processing.

We store all the personal data we collect in our customer database. Order data is stored for 7 years in accordance with the Accounting Act.

The same personal data may be stored in several different places for different purposes. This may mean that data that has been deleted from one system because it is no longer necessary may remain in another system where it is stored on the basis of consent or for another purpose where the personal data is still needed.

Butiksprofil Skandinavien's technical and organisational measures for the secure processing of your personal data
We take continuous measures to fulfil the principles of "data protection by design and data protection by default". We continuously assess the risks of personal data processing and take the necessary security measures to mitigate the risks.

We continuously train our staff on data protection issues. If you have direct questions about how we work with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), please contact info@butiksprofil.se.

Disclosure of personal data

Contract partners and IT suppliers
We use a number of different IT services and systems in our operations, some of which store and process personal data. We are committed to your privacy and the security of your data in all such processing. Some systems are installed locally by us and only our staff have access to the data. In these cases, there is no transfer to third parties. However, some systems are cloud solutions or installed at the provider's premises and involve us transferring personal data to the provider. In these cases, the supplier is our data processor and processes the data on our behalf and according to our instructions. We store personal data in Visma.

Web analytics companies

We use Google as an external provider for the personalisation and analysis of user behaviour on our website. Google processes personal data as a data processor on our behalf. The data in question is mainly data collected through cookies and processed at an anonymised and aggregated level.

Suppliers of commissioned services

To provide some of the goods you have ordered from us, we use subcontractors and contractors. It is often necessary for us to provide personal data to them in order for the service to be provided.

Disclosure to third parties

We will never disclose your data to third parties without your permission and unless it is required to deliver your goods. Third parties are governed by the paragraphs above.
